The Pro Tools Express + Mbox Mini from Avid combines a 2 input/2 output USB interface with another iteration of the company's industry-standard software, Pro Tools Express. While partially restricted when compared to Pro Tools 10, Pro Tools Express still features many of its sibling's features.
The software has 16 mono/stereo audio tracks, and allows for 8 channels of simultaneous input and output (hardware dependant). Automatic Delay Compensation (ADC) is fully supported, as is video support. Maximum sampling rate is capped at 96kHz (again hardware dependant). The software also fully supports the use of third party plug-ins.
The Mbox Mini is an ultra-portable third generation USB digital audio interface that allows for recording, editing and mixing performances and is perfect for the solo musicians and audio creators. Easily connect microphones, instruments, and monitors with a computer to capture and create studio-quality productions.
This is an educational package for both individual students and institutions and requires proof of current educational status.
