sound was poor, it can't transfer well between cables.

I bought this to replace a bad extension cable for my Shure SE115 earphones. The original became corroded when I used the earphones during workouts. I bought a cheap 3' replacement cable, but the female jack never offered a secure connection, so sound would always cut out in one ear. With the Hosa 2' extension cable, not only is the connection completely secure and robust, but the shorter length also means I have a lot less cable dangling around. Listening to music is completely hassle-free again!
