Great For Light Weight  P&S or Mirrorless Cameras

This sling is great for carrying the camera out of the way, down by your side, rather than in front of your chest/stomach. I use one sling with 3 different cameras - each with a QD quick release clip. I also attach a small carabiner to my belt loop that holds the camera close to my body while hiking and climbing. The sling slides feely making it easy to quickly raise the camera for a shot.

Nice companion to the Sony RX100

question

would this work for a mirrorless, such as the Olympus OM-D E-M5?
Asked by: Anita
I would not recommend it. The OM-D is too heavy for this strap (sling).

question

How to get the cord through SX730 slot - can't get it through the attachment site as cord too thick?
Asked by: Shirley S.
Use a length monofilament fishing line. Loop mono and insert loop into hole for cord, insert cord in loop and try to pull a loop in the cord through the hole. A needle threader could also be used.If this doesn't work try tying a note on the mono to the end of the cord and pull through the hole.

question

Does the camera when attached to the sling come out far enough from your body so you can see the rear screen well enough to frame the picture and will the strap allow the camera to come to eye level if you want to use the viewfinder?
Asked by: Anonymous
I guess the answer depends on how 'broad' your body is.. I'm 5feet9, 195lbs, and it works perfectly well for the 2 scenario you are describing.
