Formatt Hitech Soft-Edge Reverse Graduated ND Filter (150 x 170mm, 2-Stop)

This 150 x 170mm, 2-stop Formatt Hitech Soft-Edge Reverse Graduated ND Filter is unique when compared to other graduated neutral density filters in that the density begins in the middle of the filter and tapers off toward the edge of the filter. The soft-edged transition of 0.6 density is placed in the middle of the filter to help compensate for bright horizons or other circumstances when the brightest part of the image is in the middle of your frame. Standard graduated ND filters are unable to achieve similar results as the physical edge of the filter would be within the frame while photographing to get a similar effect. This filter measures 150 x 170mm and is constructed out of CR-39 dyed resin. The 0.6 density of the strongest part of the ND provides a 2-stop reduction in light from entering the lens.
