FEISOL CM-1473 Reviews

High Quality Monopod

I recently purchased the Feisol CM-1473 Monopod. It’s very lightweight and solid. The telescoping adjustments hold well, you don’t have to over tighten them to stay in place. The legs have two positions, one that is almost flat and the other at about 45 degrees. The travel bag also has a pocket for an umbrella bracket, not something I knew when I purchased it. I’m very happy with the monopod. Plus it’s a sexy carbon fiber. I use it for a travel light stand most times. Highly recommend - August :)

Should be called a tripod

To extend the column, the tripod legs must be extended outward so the locking collars can be reached. The idea for a monopod is sacrifice some steadiness for speed. It is as STEADY as any monopod. Having to mobe the legs outward slows down any height adjustment you may want to make when using as monopos instead of a tri-legged monopod.
