The CB-70D Ballhead with QP-144750 Release Plate from Feisol inherits the two-locking-system design of previous Fiesol ballhead models. The dual-caliper design provides one system to lock the ballhead sphere, and a second to lock the base plate for even greater stability. This allows for the added capability of rotating the base plate while maintaining a locked sphere. The quick release system is Arca-Swiss compatible.

FEISOL CB-70D Reviews
The safety mechanism almost ruins it for me

The little safety button ( which only works with the Feisol quick release plate anyway ) on the quick release mount makes it very difficult to slide the camera into the mount with one hand. I've adapted by opening the mount far enough to tip the camera out and then tipping it back in when returning it to the tripod. I've considered replacing the Feisol mount with a Kirk mount but the allen screw holding it in place is so tight I'm certain it will strip before it comes loose. Not a great purchase.
