FEISOL QP-144750 Reviews
perfect fit!
Searched for this item to fit my tripod so I have two, one for scope and one for camera. Fit is exactly what I need.
Works
Same plate that comes with most Feisol ball heads. It is nice to have a second one as they do not come off the camera/lens very easily. You will need a screw driver if you want it to be all the way screwed into the camera/lens. Easy to swap off the ball head
Great travel tripod
I bought the tripod and head from Feisol directly and wanted a 2nd release plate for the 2nd camera I take traveling. The tripod is light and has a very handy and sturdy extension, so it extends higher than most tripods of this type. This extra height was a big factor in my purchase, since I often photograph mural painting.
Same as the one that came with the tripod.
Feisol tripods has a different way of securing the plate to the tripod. Generic plates do not have this feature. There are grooves on the bottom rails of the plate which help secure the plate to a small rod which protrudes from the tripod base.

Get 2 if you have a feisol tripod
Ideal backup for your standard quick release plate for your tripod. It's small and easy to carry; and absolutely imperative to keep a backup if you lose the deaflaut one!
Feisol for Feisol
I have a couple of lenses with tripod mounts, as well as two Feisol tripod heads. I had some acra-type plates that worked with my Feisol heads, but it required backing the clamp out quite a bit, and the non-Feisol plate did not have a channel for the retention pin. None of that was a big deal, but the Feisol plates allow me to back the clamp off a quarter turn, and then I just push the retention button, and slide the plate out of the head. It makes everything more efficient. I even ordered the Feisol L-bracket for the same reasons. If you are building up a new tripod, learn from my mistake and keep all of your plates the same brand as your head.
the Perfect addition
This fits perfectly on my camera and my tripod. Just what I needed to add to my additional camera.
