The 100mm plate is nice for a larger camera like the Nikon D850 w/grip. Does not interfere with (D850 body) battery access. Solid rubber over the entire plate surface; not just little pads. The Feisol ball head's unique safety retention mechanism works best with Feisol QR plates.

Ideal for long lenses and pro cameras

It fits any feisol ballhead (and multiple other tripod heads); ideal to be used with pro/ semi-pro cameras and lenses, Any long lens that comes with a tripod foot should balance very well with this.
