The FEISOL LB-75100 Leveling Base provides up to 30° of adjustment to your existing FEISOL Large classic CT-3371/3471 tripod. The base allows you to level the mounting platform of your tripod without having to make minute adjustments with the legs, and only adds 1.1" to the height of your tripod. You can quickly exchange your tripod's standard mounting plate for the leveling base. The leveling base provides a 3.1" mounting platform with a 3/8" mounting screw. Featuring an integrated bubble level for accuracy, the base is machined from solid aluminum alloy and anodized for corrosion and wear resistance.

What is the diameter of the tail, the long end below the mounting plate, and how long is it? Maybe can get it to work with a Silk tripod by removing the pan/tilt head section. ThanksThanks

The entire piece is about 6 1/2 . Just the handle is about 4 1/2 . The top above the tripod is about 1.1 .This is specifically for FEISOL tripod so most likely it will not work with any other.

What diameter is the base? I'm curious if it would fit a Benro COM28C, which is similar to the Feisol. Many thanks!

Hi Karsten, the mounting plate (where the ball head etc. is mounted) is 80 mm in diameter. However, the mount of the LB-75100 is uniquely compatible with large FEISOL Classic tripods and would unfortunately not fit a Benro tripod.

Is there a load/weight rating for this leveling head?

Sorry, we do not have test data on the actual limits of the LB-76100. However, experience shows that many customers are successfully using our Leveling Bases for similar applications as you have in mind, so I am confident that you would be all right.
