This soft edge color filter is light blue colored (between blue and green in the color spectrum) and is typically used to give a splash of color to the sky.
The Soft Edge Cooling Color Graduated Filter has a clear bottom half with a gradual transition to the color effect in the top half. Primarily used for skylines of landscape shots, the filter offers a smooth transition from clear to ND (neutral density, cyan 2). Additionally, the filter can be used in combination with solid color or neutral density filters to give interesting bespoke effects. Made from high-quality 1.5mm optical resin, this 6” (150mm) filter is usable with Lee 6” (150mm) holder systems (sold separately) or any similar 6” (150mm) holder. The filter’s 6” (150mm) width and 6.69” (170mm) length enable it to be easily moved up and down in the holder.
