The black EB1 Backup LED Flashlight from SureFire is a compact dual-output LED light that was designed as a backup light, but performs like your primary flashlight. The 5-lumens Low output conserves battery power but is bright enough to read and perform basic tasks. For searching or tactical use, the 200-lumens High-output can cause temporary blindness in subjects. This light features SureFire's Total Internal Reflective (TIR) lens system. This lens is precision-focused at the factory to produce a smooth beam that is bright in the center with a dimmer ring on the periphery that helps maintain situational awareness.
A click-type tailcap switch provides momentary and constant-on modes. Partially press the tailcap for momentary-on high output; press further to click constant-on high. Return to off and press or click again within two seconds for low output. The o-ring and gasket sealed aluminum alloy body has a black Mil-Spec anodized finish. A tempered glass lens window resists scratches and has anti-reflective coatings to maximize light transmission.
