Using this with the Castel-Q the adjustments can be made much more exacting. The handle allows movement of 1/4mm or finer on the rack. The convenience in use increases greatly making this handles additional expense well worth the investment. Typical excellent Novoflex build quality, it will likely last a lifetime, when I don't need fine adjustment the handle simply slides on the knob and grabs well enough to turn easily.

You might ask yourself if almost $70 is too much for a bolt on knob and you would be forgiven for thinking that. But in this case, this knob is absolutely critical to make precise adjustments to this focus rail. As with the focus rail itself from Novo flex, this knob is precisely designed and crafted. Without it, it is next to impossible to make images at the 5X magnification level once you figure in the price for the cheaper, Novo flex, focus rails, and the price of this knob. It is still cheaper than buying the most expensive reels, but you’re able to achieve the same results , I highly recommend this accessory if anyone is serious performing highly magnified macro photography.
