The PVS40-2IA NV Weapon Front Sight from ATN mounts in front of your day scope to create a second generation night vision weapon system. This compact rugged night vision sight is useful for target acquisition and aiming in low-light and night operations. The optics are precisely aligned by the manufacturer to ensure that there is no shift of impact, no need to re-zero your day scope, and no change in eye relief.
This configuration of the PS40 includes a Gen 2+ intensifier tube that features 40-50 lp/mm resolution, automatic brightness control and highlight cut off, protecting the tube and the operator's eyes from damage. An included remote control cable allows for one-touch switching of this unit, and the rubber light suppressor slides over the eyepiece of the day scope to prevent light splash that can give away the operator's position. The included quick release mount gives operators the ability to easily mount this NV device on Weaver or Picatinny rails in seconds.
