question
Will this fit an Epson projector? I bought a similar replacement cord from Office Depot yesterday, but the female end of it cord has corners that are about 1mm, so it doesn't fit. Any ideas?
The female end looks like an IEC 320 C13 and that should have large chamfered corners to fit the socket on the unit. A C13 mates with a C14 which is normally the recessed blades on the unit. If your cord has small chamfers it won't fit. I would make sure the male part on the unit is in fact a C14, measure it if need be and get a C13 female ended cord. Most of that stuff is standardized but you can never be too sure. Some gear has proprietary fittings to force you to buy only their stuff so I would check that out as well. Good luck.
