Do the hex keys fit the screws on Really Right Stuff clamps?
The question refers to the issue of the size of the Hex Keys required for the hex screws used on the RRS Clamps. The screws attach the RRS clamps to other pieces of equipment and use 5/32" | 5mm size hex keys. There is also a larger RRS hex key needed for some of the larger 3/16 inch screws that are used on 3/16 inch tripod heads.

Does this have the right Hex size to use on the Canon C300 MarkII top handle?
No, it does not. According to Canon, the screws for the handle unit used on the Canon Cinema EOS C300 Mark II Camcorder measure 1/4 inch SAE. Unfortunately, the tools on the Novoflex Multi-Tool With 8 Functions are metric in size, and do not evenly convert to SAE measurements. 1/4 inch SAE woud be approximately 6.350 mm, while the Novoflex Multi-Tool With 8 Functions only has hex keys in the size of 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, and 6mm. It would be best to find a tool kit that uses SAE measurements or find a single 1/4 inch SAE allen wrench hex key for your usage needs.

I received this the other day and it's an excellent tool, but I'm confused about the spring/wire coil that came with it. Does anyone know what it's for?
The spring/ coil is just a ring to hang it from a key chain. It's on the 6mm Hex and can be removed when needed.Enter an answer to this question.
