Hi,I have some Canon 600EX-RT's that I'd like to use with this bar. Can flashes be mounted beneath the bar so that they hang upside down? Basically, I want two on top and two on the bottom.
Asked by: Robert
Yes, also, mounting it that way helps to balance the center of gravity around the pivot point and allow easier access to some controls.

Do the cold-shoe mounts on the bar allow for the flashes to swivel left and right? I assume so. For instance on one bar, lets say I have 2 flash units that I want each pointed out at 45 degree angles (as opposed to straight as into an umbrella) thanks in advance :)

Yes, I have mounted 2 Canon 600EX RTs on the top and 2 on the bottom. Using this with the Westcott Orb and find it easier to mount the speedlites prior to attaching the softbox.
