Hitachi CP-D31N 3LCD Projector
Key Features
  • 3000 ANSI Lumens
  • XGA Resolution (1024 x 768)
  • 5000 Hour Lamp Life (Eco Mode)
  • Hybrid Filter
The Hitachi CP-D31N 3LCD Projector is a workhorse of a video projector. With 3000 ANSI lumens and a 2000:1 contrast ratio it has the projection power to work in both classrooms and meeting rooms, making it ideal for both the educational and business markets.

The whiteboard mode compensates visually when you don't have a screen but you do have a board or wall to project upon. Its fan noise is a quiet 39 dB in normal mode and a very quiet 29 dB in eco mode. Similarly, eco mode extends an already impressive lamp life of 3000 hours to an amazing 5000 hours. (The latter is equivalent to leaving the projector lamp on every hour of every business day for two solid years.)
As a short throw projector the CP-D31N can project a relatively large image at a short distance from the screen. Imagine a picture that's 80" (2 m) diagonally with a lens that's only three feet from the projection surface.

The CP-D31N is compatible with world power requirements, world TV standards (NTSC, NTSC 4.43, PAL, PAL-N, PAL-M, PAL-60 and SECAM), and it even provides closed captioning when present in the input signal and you select it. That's great not only for the hard of hearing but also for audience members for whom English is a second language. This is one projector that not only gives your audience the big picture but helps make sure they understand it.
