Carson Sentinel MB-025 Binocular

The Sentinel MB-025 Binocular from Carson is a reverse Porro prism design. A reverse Porro prism means that the objectives are closer to each other than the eyepieces. This allows a lighter, more compact unit than the more commonly found straight Porro design. The single 10x power provides quite adequate magnification that simplifies the mechanical movements over a zoom optic. A 57.7° field of view delivers the opportunity to scan large areas of panoramic vistas or be able to watch the whole playing field at once. Fully coated optics afford brighter and sharper images with higher contrast. It weighs in at a very svelte 7 ounces with an attractive gray housing with black oculars. This is a straight-forward binocular that satisfies a multitude of utilitarian usages.
