C6 Lens Cleaner Pen is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not optimal Effective, but only in conjunction with a Pec-Pad or some other form of non-abrasive wipe after use. Unlike other lens pens I have used in the past, the Carson pen leaves a distinct smear on the glass. Despite this, it does remove spots and marks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from May be better than the others I use this for My Muliticoated lens cleaning. I did a fair amount of research concerning the many lens tools on the market these days and basically came to the conclusion that for Me they seem to be about the same, making use of the same property of using carbon black to absorb grease prints on delicate glass surfaces. I have not used many of the others; but, I did like the opinions written about the larger radius of the pad and the more pliable pad. I decided to see for Myself and discovered that this Carson does indeed work very well with minimal pressure applied. I've been disappointed that I've thus-far been unable to find the small Carson LP-50 which would be of great help cleaning the smaller eyepiece lenses.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not sure about it! The brush side is very handy, soft and easy to use. The other side however left a distinctive smudge on my lenses which I'm not sure if it was supposed to do. What happens for me is that I only use the brush side, because it seems the other side has to be used together with a cleaning wipe of some sort.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long Time User I have always been paranoid about cleaning my numerous lenses. This is the answer. Does a very good job with no worry about scratching. I don't know how long they last, so I play it safe and replace mine at least every 2 years or, more often if it has had heavy use, the cap comes off in travel, I drop it in the dirt. I am probably overly cautious, but replacements are not expensive - lens are.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good, not great Overall it's a quality cleaner but my only concern is that when I used the brush to clean off the mirror a few of the bristles got caught and came out of the handle. It was easy to wipe them loose, but they came off the brush a little too easy. Only happened the one time and it's been fine on my lenses

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this product again Took this item to the the Wind River Range in Wyoming to clean my lenes while in the mountains and it worked great. Used this on a ND Filter that I was afraid was scratched from use, but was able to clean off the filter and realized there was no scratches on the glass, was very happy with the results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Brush I purchased this as an alternative to the LensPen. A single LensPen is more expensive, and I didn't need a kit package or several sized LensPens; thus, I chose this Carson Lens Cleaner Pen. I can't comment on the lens smudge removing portion as I purchased this item mainly for the retractable brush.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from As Good as Anything Else Having a brush handy to give your lens a quick dusting is a pretty useful thing, especially when shooting outdoors. Having that brush fit in your pocket is also very handy. I'm not so sure about the other side, however. While it did remove smudges it also left its own new smudges.
