The 3-9x40 Crossfire II Riflescope (V-Plex) from Vortex Optics is a cost-effective yet durable variable power riflescope. The 3-9x magnification is ideal for close and mid-range hunting and target practice. A nitrogen purged and o-ring sealed aluminum housing is built to perform in driving rain and extreme humidity. This model of the Crossfire II is configured with a V-Plex reticle and low-profile capped windage/elevation turrets. A fast focus eyepiece, fully multicoated optics, and generous eye relief make the Crossfire II a full-featured scope for sportsmen.

V-Plex Reticle
All-purpose hunting reticle intended for close range targeting where bullet drop and wind drift are not significant factors.
Anti-Reflective Lens Coating
Fully multicoated optics and an additional anti-reflective coating on the objective and the ocular lenses ensure transmission of bright detail-rich images throughout the entire magnification range.
Rugged Construction
The one-piece aerospace aluminum housing is anodized for a durable non-reflective finish. Optical elements are held in place by machined locking rings that ensure perfect lens alignment even after intense recoil and rapid fire. Additionally, the interior is nitrogen purged and o-ring sealed, preventing driving rain and extreme humidity from fogging the optics.
VIP Unconditional Warranty
This unlimited, unconditional, fully transferable, hassle free warranty is almost unheard of in the optics industry. Whether damaged by the owner or a manufacturing defect, Vortex Optics will repair or replace the scope at no charge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceptional Clarity I bought this scope a year ago and used it for hunting.. the clear focus I received made it much easier to put the crosshairs on my game! Thank you also for your warranty. I recommend Vortex to my hunting partners.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good eye relief and clear optic I have been using on a hog gun in low light. Good value for the price. Great warranty but follow instructions for installation torque.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crossfire II 3-9x40 This is a lot of scope for the price. Host Gun: Ruger American Ranch in .223 This scope is on my truck rig. It goes where ever my truck goes. Great clarity for the price. This is one tough scope. It bounces around on my Ruger in the passenger seat over terraces, through drainage ditches and over corn fields. Even after all that, I know it will holds its zero. Its not Vortex's best or brightest scope, but for the money spent its the perfect fit for what I do with it. Plus no matter what, Vortex will stand behind it if something were to happen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely the clearest riflescope I've ever owned I put a Crossfire II 3-9x40 on my ar15 5.56 build. First off great clear reticle. Fast acquisition of the target through the scope. The zoom adjustment is buttery smooth, same thing with the focal plane adjustment. Deadhold reticle is an outstanding reticle, clear drop hashes, very clear cross hairs. The one thing I have any problem with, and it's not even really a problem for me is, that I wish the turrets weren't capped but I suppose those are more expensive so I can deal. Any way. Great product, love it, and would definitely recommend to a friend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing how far we’ve come It’s amazing how far “starter” scopes have come in my lifetime (and I’m not THAT old). I just put this Crossfire II 3-9x44 on my daughter’s rifle. She’ll never need another scope for the rest of her life. It’s clear, bright, and the warranty is untouchable. Her “starter” scope has more features and better performance than top-of-the-line scopes of just a few years ago. I switched from Redfield to Vortex because I wanted a scope made in the US and the quality is evident.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Scope This is an excellent scope regardless of price. I picked up a 3-9X40 to try on my .308 as I wasn't particularly impressed with my current optic, which is a major optic brand and cost a good deal more than the Crossfire. I haven't put it on my .308 yet as it has been too cold to sight that in at 200 yards but I put it on my AR build to see how it would perform. I was able to shoot at an indoor 25 yard and 50 yard range. I was sighted in and stacking rounds in about 5 shots at 50 yards. It was extremely clear and the adjustments could be made so finely that I can't believe this scope is priced this low. The fit and finish is amazing. I think I will like this on my .308 and find something else for the AR as it seemed overkill for what I typically do with the AR and I would like ballistic turrets. You can bet all of my optics in the future will be Vortex.
