Vortex Ranger 1000 6x22 Rangefinder

Simple to operate and capable of ranging up to 1000 yards, the Ranger 1000 6x22 Rangefinder from Vortex gives gun hunters, bow hunters and target shooters the distance data they need for accurate shots. The Ranger's Horizontal Component Distance technology provides an angle-compensated reading for uphill or downhill shots.

You can use the Ranger to lock on a stationary target, or switch to Scan mode to range a moving target or get continual readings while panning across the landscape. The 6x magnification is suitable for identifying targets at intermediate to long-range distances, and the focus can be fine-tuned with the diopter adjustment. Fully multi-coated optics optimize light transmission for a bright, sharp image, and the rangefinder's vertical orientation makes it easy to operate with one hand. This unit is made for use out in the elements, with a watertight O-ring-sealed, rubber-armored housing. A handy belt clip can be mounted on either side or removed altogether, and the unit can be mounted on a tripod. The Ranger runs on one included CR2 battery.
