The Yasuhara Nanoha Macro Lens 5:1 for Sony E-Mount is a true macro lens for photographing at 4:1 or 5:1 magnifications. A removable lighting module has three LEDs for lighting very small objects, which is often necessary because the lens itself is so close as to block light from the subject. Also included are four plastic holders that can be mounted to the front of the lens to maintain a consistent distance of 0.43-0.75" / 11-19mm between lens and subject. These plastic holders can be easily modified by cutting them to fit your subject.

Focus distance is very close up and you will need LOTS of light, thus the built in LEDS more is also good in lower light. as for the lack of lens cap the company Kurvd makes a micro lens cover that fits and protects this model great. I would also invest in a longer cord for the battery pack or a cold show mount to strap to the battery pack to keep it out of the way while getting in close. lens picks up great detail and is exactly what your looking for if you want those super macro shots in camera and not have to zoom in on the image in post.

Not that good at 4-5 x

The LED had to be removed so I can focus at that magnification. The lens was to close to object and was hard to apply light for it. Im glad I sold that lens at big lost but Need to be done.  I dont recommend that lens.
