    Impact LS-CS40M reviews

    40" C-Stand with Sliding Leg (Chrome-plated, 11') is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tall and Strong (like I like my c-stands) Flags, lights, and a tennis ball, that's all that has been put on this stand, so far. The ball fell off once, but I can't blame the stand for that, I blame the mean ball cutter we hired... It is tall and heavy. So don't PLEASE buy it to balance your steadicam (which I've seen reviews say on other stands of the same height), you'll want a chest (or lower) level stand for that. The only thing I don't like are the legs. They're a bit clumsy to work with, only one swivels, the sliding leg you have to loosen to swivel, but that's what you get with the sliding leg option.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent value!! I have the Avenger A2033L stand, which is close to this model for comparison. It is slightly heavier than the Avenger, which I don't mind, as it adds stability and I don't need to weight it down for much of my use. The quality of the section tighteners is excellent, although slightly bulkier than the Avenger. The folding legs don't have quite as nice action/movement as the Avenger, but it does not affect usability. Considering the price difference between the two brands, I am extremely happy with the Impact c-stand, and will be buying more Impact products based on the quality of this stand!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Stand! I have to say that this stand exceeded my expectations. This thing is a brute. Sturdy, shiny, strong and exceptionally built. The mechanism to move the legs around is genius and it feels like a hurricane couldn't blow this thing over. This is the first time I've ever purchased a quality stand and it won't be the last. If you want a great and beautiful stand for a good price, this is it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Affordable no-frills C-Stand Even though I could not find a single review, I took a chance and purchased two of these c-stands. I am glad I did. For the price (discounted for a while now), these c-stands are a really good deal: tall and sturdy, they can be packed and unpacked quickly once you get used to them. I gave them five stars, regardless that they were not turtle-base, because I knew that going in. If on a budget, these cannot be beat and a way better purchase than regular flimsy lightstands!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid I use it with the Avenger D600 Mini Boom, it's solid, the third foot is height adjustable (great for uneven ground). It's a C-stand, it's chrome, it's lovely.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A completely functional C-Stand While this isn't the easiest to unfold stand I've used (having almost exclusively used American stands for the last few years), the knuckles are a little on the large size, and the weight's a little high compared to American, it is, regardless, a solid C-Stand, and one you can use with the same conviction as any other. I would definitely buy a different brand if you have the money to go more mainstream

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not your Father's C Stand! Best Value proposition available. Versatile leg configuration. Beautiful fit and finish--a work of art in itself. I currently use them for product/still shooting in a small studio with a variety of Light modifiers from small to very large. Impact is becoming my go to brand for studio and lighting equipment from B and H.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big and Heavy, just the thing for worry free studio lighting I bought this C Stand as an upgrade from light weight speed light stands. It's big and heavy, so you have to need it it to bring it, but once onsite you'll have a set and forget stand.
