Axis Communications P1343 Day & Night Fixed Network Camera (10 Pack)
Key Features
  • 1/4" Progressive Scan RGB CMOS Imager
  • CS-Mount
  • SVGA Resolution
  • Supports Multiple H.264 / Motion JPEG
The Axis Communication P1343 Day & Night Fixed Network Camera (10 Pack), with a 1/4" progressive scan RGB CMOS imager, delivers clear and crisp images at a resolution of up to SVGA. The camera is fitted with a CS-mount. This means that you can choose from a wide range of industry standard fixed or varifocal CCTV lenses (not included) for use with your camera. Featuring progressive scan technology, rest assured that you will get smooth image capture for scenes with fast moving objects. It supports individually configurable multiple H.264 and Motion JPEG video streams at up to 30 fps. A minimum illumination of 0.2 lux (color) and 0.05 lux (B&W) makes the camera suitable for low light surveillance.

Defined by its Day & Night ICR (infrared cut filter removal) function, the camera switches between color and B&W as per changes in ambient lighting ensuring accurate color reproduction in daylight and enhanced B&W images at night. Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) function is used to correct extreme lighting environments marked by high-contrast and harsh backlit scenes.

With the Remote Back Focus function, you can easily fine tune the focus from a computer. Focus Assistant enables you to set the focus, and a flashing green LED indicates that the image is in focus. A unique feature of this camera is its pixel counter function, which calculates the number of pixels contained in a given part of the image, for example a person's face. This is an important feature for satisfying certain jurisdictions requiring proof of resolution before an image can be submitted for evidence.

Digital pan/tilt/zoom allows a designated area to be cropped from the full view for viewing or recording, thus reducing the bit rate and storage needs. Besides, the indoor camera includes features such as privacy masking, text and image overlay, exposure control, fine tuning of behavior at low light, and mirroring of images.

With 2-way audio streaming, the camera enables you to communicate with the intruders from the operator's base station. Password protection restricts access to unauthorized persons and IP filtering restricts access to 1 or more user groups. User groups can be created with an IP address range being defined for each group.

Intelligent video capabilities include video motion detection, audio detection, and active tampering alarm. The camera supports an open API (Application Programming Interface) for software integration, including the ONVIF specification for interoperability between network video products. Power is supplied to the camera through PoE (IEEE 802.3af); hence the camera gets power from the network itself without any extra wiring for auxiliary power outlets.

The Network Camera is ideal for a wide range of video surveillance applications, which include government and industrial buildings, retail environments, airports, railway stations, and schools.

Excellent Image Quality with Progressive Scan
1/4" RGB CMOS sensor delivers clear and crisp images in SVGA resolution
Progressive scan technology delivers blur free images at 30 fps
Minimum illumination of 0.2 lux (color) and 0.05 lux (B&W) ensure clear images in both bright light and low light conditions
Switches between color and B&W as per changes in ambient lighting, ensuring accurate color reproduction in daylight and enhanced B&W images at night
Image settings include compression, brightness, exposure control, rotation, mirroring of images, text and image overlay, and privacy masking
Adjustable brightness in the range of 0 - 100 and the higher value displays a brighter image; contrast can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the value
Exposure control can remove up to 50 or 60 Hz flicker caused by a fluorescent light source
CS-mount lets you use a wide range of industry standard fixed or varifocal CCTV lenses (not included) with the camera
Intelligent Features
Digital pan/tilt/zoom allows enlarging portions of the image so that they can be inspected closely
Video motion detection feature compares the current frame with a pre-determined standard frame to accurately trigger an alarm if motion is detected
API (Application Program Interface) supports an open API for software integration, including the ONVIF specification and the VAPIX and Axis Camera Application Platform from Axis Communications
Quality of Service (QoS) to maximize network efficiency
Optimized Use of Bandwidth and Storage
Multiple H.264 and MPEG streams can be provided simultaneously either in full frame rate or individually optimized for different quality needs and bandwidth constraints
SD/SDHC card slot for on-board storage for recording images or small video clips
Power over Ethernet
Built-in 802.3af compliant PoE allows the camera to receive power directly from its network interface, making installation possible without the need for additional wiring and cables
Pixel Counter
A unique feature of this camera is its pixel counter function, which calculates the number of pixels contained in a given part of the image, for example a person's face. This is an important feature for satisfying certain jurisdictions requiring proof of resolution before an image can be submitted for evidence
Security
Password Protection restricts access to unauthorized persons
IP Filtering restricts access to one or more user groups; user groups can be created with an IP address range being defined for each group
Digest Authentication uses a system where the network server authenticates a user request through a domain controller and then grants access to authorized users only
User Access Log - maintains a log of all the users that were granted access to the camera image data on the network
HTTPS (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol over SSL) protects streaming data transmission across the network
