The SHAPE V-Lock Quick Release Baseplate is the same baseplate as Shape's BP6000 but without handles. You can optionally attach SHAPE handles to ARRI rosette adapters on the side.
8" 15mm rods are included for attachment to the front and 4" rods for the back. Without the rods, the baseplate is approximately 15" long and has a fastener-attachable shoulder pad underneath that removes to reveal 1/4" and 3/8" tripod-mount threads.
An outstanding feature is a V-lock delta adapter on the bottom. This adapter is also compatible with Panasonic and Sony camera plates. Accordingly, any camera you mount on top of this baseplate can become compatible with such plates for secure V-lock quick-release functionality.
