question

Can this or the RA333 work with Canon EOS T2i? Also, can wireless recording devices such as Lavalier be used with either the RM333 or RA333 Juicedlink?
Asked by: Anonymous
Not sure about the cannon, I would imagine it would work with any camera with mic hack. Yes it will work with a wireless device. I currently use with a sennhieser.

question

How long do the batteries last while using phantom power? I see specs for run time without phantom power but not with out. Any users out there have insight? I'm tired to the zooms and tascams eating batteries left and right. Is this any different? Any options to connect it with an Anton Bauer set up?
Asked by: Ryan
Utilizing phantom power power on the Riggy Micro RM333 will be similar to that of a portable recorder. Battery life will be significantly reduced by 50% or more depending on the number of mics connected requiring power. Unfortunately this unit does not feature a DC input and can not be externally powered. This unit requires Alkaline or LiPoly rechargeable 9v battery.

question

How well does this work with the Sonya7s ?
Asked by: Anonymous
I have only used the RM333 with a GH4 but the Sony A7s should be equally well suited to work with the RM333 Riggy preamp from JuicedLink. The important points are that the camera should have a 3.5mm audio input to receive the mixed signal from the RM333 output and have in camera audio levels to monitor input so as not to peak and have strong signal and a 3.5mm headphone output jack to monitor your audio quality. The Sony A7s has both these capabilities and most likely you will want to reduce the camera mic input level to a low setting so you don't introduce any noise from the in camera preamp. The Juiced Link RM333 is very low noise and a nice field mixer for up to 3 sources with xlr inputs. Many mounting options on the camera or cage.Hope this helps your purchasing decision.

question

how does this device connect to my GH4 and do i need anything else to make it work right out of the box?
Asked by: Todd
It comes with the 1/4 inch connecting cable, I guess all you need is a 9v battery. Works great for me on my T3i

question

I use a Canon 650D and was wondering whether this camera is going to allow the JuicedLink RM333 Riggy Micro to do its job to the best of its ability, or if its compatible with it? Thanks!!

This device will work well with your camera. For monitoring purposes you may want to consider a similar product that offers headphone monitoring and metering:The JuicedLink RA333 Riggy Assist Low-Noise Preamp (B&H # JURA333) is a straightforward, miniature, and flexible microphone preamplifier for use with DSLR cameras. The RA333 Riggy Assist provides AGC (Automatic Gain Control) disabling, headphone monitor output and LED display, allowing it to be used with most DSLR cameras. There are 3 built-in XLR inputs and a single 1/8 (3.5mm) stereo output, input gain control, 48V and 12V phantom power. http://bhpho.to/16GiFIZ
