This is my second double ball joint head and it work well supporting my cameras. Purchase a second unit so I would not have to reposition the head each time I wanted to change locations within my car.

Are there flat sides on each of the baby pins to ...

Are there flat sides on each of the baby pins to prevent twisting when mounted to a super clamp? Can't tell from the photos.

yes, the middle metal between the two raised parts of each stud (not sure what else to call it) has 1 flat side on each stud; to prevent rotation after you tighten the locking knob on a clamp or receiver socket.
