Will this fit the female baby pin receiver in Elinchrom monoblocks? The female receivers in Elinchrom lights are slightly less deep than most receivers and not all baby pins fit correctly.
I would think this will work fine. I have hung small LED light panels that only have a 1"-1.25" receiver without any issues.

Is the baby pin constructed from steel or aluminum? Others have stated that the avenger drop down pin has an aluminum pin and I want to know if this one is better.
Lower half appears (that attaches to your C - Stand) appears to be steel, (Magnet sticks) Upper half is aluminum. (no magnet stick). Knobs are aluminum. I choose this one for the lock up knob, so I have that little bit of extra functionality over the Avenger.
