iZotope Iris Virtual Instrument

Simply put, Iris by Izotope is a sampling re-synthesizer which allows you to extract and isolate the most interesting sonic components of any audio file to create new, completely unique sounds. Simply drag any sound into Iris and the intelligent root note detection maps it across the keyboard allowing you to layer and tweak multiple selections.

It comes packed with 500 built-in presets and an impressive 4GB sound library. With the included sounds or your own imported samples, you can isolate and carve out harmonic content while layering multiple samples to enhance your sound with preset waveforms. After creating something totally new and original, Iris allows you to process your sound further with Izotope's award winning DSP master effects including Distortion, Chorus, Delay and Reverb.

This virtual instrument can be run as a plug-in or standalone application. It's equipped with three pitch mapping options including Radius RT which provides real-time pitch-shifting while leaving your sample's timing unaffected. As if that wasn't enough, the synth panel features dedicated controls including tuning, enveloping, LFO control and more.
