    Koss KTXPro1 reviews

    KTXPRO1 On-Ear Headphones is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely the Best I have been using these headphones at a local library for months to plug into a PC 3.5 mm headphone jack. The in-line volume control means the world because one doesn't need to keep clicking on the GUI volume control icon every time the volume level changes for each website or video. They also work great plugged into my mobile device for work. The foam earpads are comfortable for long periods and the plastic headpiece is easily adjustable on both sides. This second pair I got for leisure use after taking my first pair to work for use there. Get them while they're still making/selling them! I've seen good earphones disappear from online shelves before. B&H is the way to go.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value. but... We are a public access TV station. We needed replacement headphones for our 3 Sony PXW-X70 field cameras. On the plus side, these headphones are very comfortable and generally sound very nice. And, the price is certainly right. However, the bass response appears to be lacking which resulted in a major issue. I had a shoot this week where I picked up the audio feed from a PA mixer. It sounded fine on the headphones out of the camera, but when I downloaded the files into the computer for editing, there was a quite strong hum. Didn't hear it on the Koss headphones. Bummer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Audiophile-territory Sound on a Pauper's Budget For this low of a price, I have not found a better sounding headphone---it destroys some headphones at 3 to 4 times its price. I play music ( hobby) and my tastes are varied--will listen to anything--love jazz/fusion/ rock/classical/electronic/world/gospel/acoustic/new age / DCI drum corps. I am running a standard laptop and an old Audioquest Dragonfly v1.0 DAC--poor man's budget stuff, nothing fancy. With this combo, depth, soundstage, instrument timbres and tonal balance are amazing at this price. CONS: semi-fragile construction--take care of them ( ! ), presently a goofy look ( consumers may want to get out the Krylon !-- my opinion--sorry, Koss ! What happened to the-- more attractive IMHO-- all black KTXPRO design?). Very satisfying sound; I continue to be impressed every time I listen. Personally, I think this is a budget audiophile classic, and I have been a fan of it for decades through its various incarnations ( even back to the Optimus Pro 35 Radio Shack days !) A MUST buy on a budget---you will not be disappointed at this price. Despite the present look ( ! ), well done, Koss !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great I bought these headphones to replace a similar pair that I've had for 10 years. I liked the old ones so much that I replace them with the exact same headphones.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good sound for price, fit not so much I suppose that 3.5 might also work. These are good, well-priced headphones, which I got mainly to listen to music while commuting and traveling. (I got them because my first choicce, the Koss Pro Porta headphones were out of stock before my trip.) The sound is good for this price; the main thing I don't like is that I can't really snug down the headset that well, so they seem a bit too loose on my average-sized head.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great lightweight headphones I love these headphones. They sound great for lightweight over ear headphones. There is surprisingly good bass quality for such a small light device. The rubber headband is comfortable and doesn't slip when wearing. I have purchased several of these. Because they are lightweight, the cord is small and can wear out, which is why I give it a 4 star rating. When they have broken, it is due to rough treatment by the kids. But due to the great sound quality, comfortable fit and great price, I keep getting more.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Sound for the Price point I sit in a cube in a large office. I use these headphones everyday to block out the noise of co workers and to keep a good pace listening to tunes. They are solid and dependable with a good bass sound and volume control on the cord.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, sound good for the price. I think these sound good for the price point. Certainly sound better than others at this price. Good, full range of sound.
