discWelder Bronze-5.1 Basic DVD-Audio Tool Authoring Software from Minnetonka Audio is an easy-to-use, drag-and-drop application for creating DVD-Audio discs from high resolution uncompressed WAV and AIFF Linear PCM files. It supports files with up to 6 channels (5.1 surround) at 24-bit 48 kHz sample resolution and two channel stereo files at up to 24-bit 192 kHz. The software includes a ReSolution feature that can resample 5.1 surround files from 96 to 48 kHz and 88.2 to 44.1 kHz files. You can use both stereo and 5.1 surround tracks on the same disc, and burn up to 99 tracks in one group with support for gapless playback between tracks. The software works on both Mac OS X and Windows and will create standard-compliant discs that play on DVD-Audio players with DVD-R/RW support.
