Tiffen 4 x 5.65" Soft Contrast 3 Glass Filter

Hi Daniel, thanks for answering. However I think your description is what the low contrast filter does. The description for this product says that it absorbs light, making highlights darker and keeping shadows dark as well. To me, that sounds like what a neutral density filter does only without the intent to make a longer exposure. I marked the answer as incorrect for that reason so I wanted to leave a comment explaining why. Let me rephrase my question: beyond being tinted a little dark to reduce light transmission, does this have any sort of scattering/diffusion effect?
