The Impact 2" End Jaw Vise Grip is a fast way to mount a light or accessory with a 5/8" baby receiver on a pipe or other tubular support up to 2" in diameter. The Vise Grip's shaft is made of chrome-plated steel, and its aluminum alloy jaws are rubber-padded to protect mounting surfaces from damage.

I use these to hang lights and hold scrim frames. For the price, you really can't beat these. They are noticeably lesser in quality compared to similar products from matthews, although I must stress that they have held up well in my usage. I have only mounted smallrig 220 with softbox modifiers as far as lights go, and my 8x frame. The frame went sailing once during a sudden gust of wind - probably 25-30 mph- and the vise grip held strong.
.I'm starting to like Impact's products more and more. I don't see how this end jaw vise grip can break. It's solid.
