nothing wrong with what probably a great product, except that the shape of my desk phone (RCA Visys) is too round and has no backstop for the handset on the low end. B&H customer service was excellent and the return was no problem.

Does the Plantronics HL10 Handset lifter work with the CS540XD wireless headset series? Some of my CSRs prefer to leave their phone set to the standard headset mode (rather than using the RD1 cable in the wireless mode), but still want to be able to pick up and hang up calls when they are away from their desk.

It looks like it. This document on Plantronic's website lists the HL10 as a sold separately accessory for the CS540XD headset. (plantronics-com/us/media/media-resources/literature/user_guides/cs540xd-ug-en-us.pdf)
