The black Marching Quad / Quint Case from SKB is designed to accommodate most standard sized squad/quint instrument configurations. With its rotationally molded polyethylene construction, this case is meant to withstand the inevitable bumps and abrasions that occur during transit. For even more protection, the inside is fully padded to protect the fine finish of the instruments.
For ease of portability, the case comes with two roller blade style wheels. Navigating parking lots, ramps and narrow hallways has never been easier. A metal carry handle is provided with a 90° stop. Rotational molding is a 3-stage heating process that results in evenness all around the edges of the case. The polyethylene material is inserted into a mold, and then gradually rotated until the material sticks to the edges of the mold in an even pattern. Once cooled, this plastic material forms a strong bond that minimizes sagging and potential collapse.
