Z-Finder 3.2" Mounting Frame for DSLRs is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect. Love this for my 5DMk3 I can see everything! I was using the original frame that cropped the edges of the larger screen of the new Canon 5DMk3. Now I can see edge to edge up, down and sideways. But wait there's more! I would always wind up knocking of the Z-Finder by accident. Most of the time I would have my lanyard on to stop it from tumbling to the floor, but not always. The fit was just not secure enough with the old frame. This one is worth getting just for the fit. Now it has a nice firm and secure attachement to the frame. I am sure I will be able to find a way to knock it loose, but this is much improved over the previous design. If you use the Z-Finder a lot for video as I do, you will find this one of the nicest improvements to your work experience since real time volume level control.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed, it does work. I am a Zacuto fan but must say that this mounting frame makes it difficult to access the D800's buttons on the left hand side. I also found it quite difficult to get the frame flush with the LCD screen even following their instructions. I would only recommend this as I don't know of an alternative if you have already purchased the Z-finder.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works I've used the Zacuto finder for years with other camera bodies. So when I bought a D810 I just needed to buy a new frame not the whole thing just the new Mounting frame fro a 3.2 screen which is nice they made it like that. Works good just like I thought it would cause using the live view in bright sun is horrible this makes it livable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great with 5dmk3 I thought that when I upgraded from my Canon 5d mk2 to the 5d mk3 I would have to get a whole new Zacuto Z-finder to work with the larger screen. Turns out Zacuto made it easy by making this larger mounting frame for the newer/larger screen. Bought this new frame and tada! Works great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great with the 3.2'' screen Cheap replacement when I don't have to buy the whole set of Z-finder to fit on my Canon 5D mk3 bodies. I have 2 Z-finders for the Mk2 and I thought I had to replace everything to fit the 3.2 inch screen on the Mk3. turns out I only have to replace the frame and everything else fits.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Essential gear for 5D MKIII Shooting music videos, surf movies and wedding films here in sunny Hawaii, the Z-Finder has become essential for shooting with the Canon 5D. Without it, the LCD screen is too hard to see in harsh lighting conditions. Now that the MKIII has a 3.2 LCD screen, (up from 3 on the MKII) this new larger frame allows the same trusty old Z-Finder to fit the new screen size. Unfortunately, the fit on the new frame is too tight - much tighter than my old Z-frame - so I emailed Zacuto. It takes too much effort to remove the Z-Finder compared to the old frame. Zacuto replied that they are aware of this issue, and they even have a video explaining techniques of removing the Z finder more easily. Wish they would just fix the fit and replace it but they were not that accommodating...They just sent me some plastic extension frames that were exercised. Never the less I use Z-Finder frame every time I shoot with the 5D MKIII. It has become an essential part of my kit. Just need to squeeze and yank on the Z-Finder to get it off.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Essential for the Mark3 After upgrading from the M2 to the M3, this became essential to be able to see the full LCD for proper framing. Solid built, although very sticky when trying to remove the finder when not in use. I hope that's a good thing - at least the finder won't fall off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glove fit This frame allows use of older z-finder with 5dmkiii, but what I like best us the subtle design tweak that grips the finder much tighter than on old version. My old one used to accidentally get knocked off occasionally. Not this one - it's bombproof.
