Kupo Side Arm Reviews

Exactly what I was looking for. Strong and reliable.

I'm very pleased with this purchase. I'm using it to hold up a heavy +20lbs speaker on a c-stand. It was very intuitive to use on the first try and inspires confidence with it's sturdy build. Two notes that buyers should know... 1) When mounted on a chrome stand like a standard c-stand, the Kupo side arm can still rotate around the tube with moderate pressure (the clamp is not overly grippy). This means that it's not for mounting on a horizontal tube unless the weight is hanging downward. 2) The square chrome arm does not sit perfectly flat in the black slider, so don't count on this holding an object perfectly flat and level.

Well built, heavy baby side arm but the clamp is far too large to securely fasten around a c-stand post or light stand. I had to fashion a rubber gromlet to fill the space to securely fasten it.

The Kupo Sidearm with Baby Pin/Receiver would have the best fit on the main center column of the C-stand, below the riser sections.

Asked by: Iliya
There is no weight rating available from the manufacturer for the Kupo Sidearm with Baby Pin/Receiver. The strenght of the stand, the exact placement of the offset arm on the riser, as well as counterbalancing the offset load will all ultimately determine how much weight the offset arm can support.
