The Kupo Double Ball Joint Adapter with Dual 5/8" Studs is a double ball joint secured by a ratcheting handle with two 5/8" (16 mm) studs on either side. One stud is tapped with a 1/4"-20 female thread and the other has a 3/8"-16 female thread for a variety of mounting options. Each stud is milled with six flat surfaces to prevent your light fixture or any accessory with a baby receiver from rotating once the set screw is secured. The included camera has dual 5/8" receivers and a 1/4"-20 camera screw.

Not for continually adjusting your camera

If you need to continually adjust the camera - this is not for you. If you just want to set it and forget it - this will work just fine. The notches in the ball joints don't allow for smooth movement, which is not a problem if you don't need to reframe your camera over and over again.
