I ordered the TLM 49 mic and see it comes with an EA-3 shockmount. Is this worth upgrading to? Why? Thanks.
Both models use elastic bands and the EA 2 offers additional reinforcement for stabilization in the center. The EA 3 is a good quality shock moiunt but if you find that it is not providing as much stabilization as you may need, then the EA 2 would be worth consideration.
