DLC V9 HDSLR Camera Support is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Must Have Piece Of Gear For Your Rig I shoot all the scenes for ClaudiaMarie.Com And we are nominated for the 2013 AVN Award as Best Solo Girl Website These shoots are hard on my arms and back. My rig is a Canon 5d MKiii, a Kino Ring light and ballast, a Small HD monitor all mounted on a SHAPE rig. Handholding that rig for an hour or so can pretty tough. This camera support solved the problem for me. Plus it gives me my hands free for focus, switching between camera and vid modes, etc. I'm adding in a Manfrotto 323 RC2 Quick Release Adapter to make dismounting it quicker for handheld shots. I highly recommend this if you need a support rig that works for a reasonable price.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor Experience The build quality thus far seems perfectly fine. It's better than I expected, to be honest. It does not fit well inside its supplied carry-bag, so plan on carrying it to and fro from your photoshoot via an alternate method. My big gripe has far more to do with the design and concept, rather than the actual product. For what it is, this in't to shoddy a product at all. BUT...this is a camera support, intended to stabilize your camera more while shooting video clips. FAIL! I have has in my stomach? Shake. I blow a---------- while recording? Shake. Stretch my back? (Which I often do) Shake. Breathe deeply? Shake. I bought this support because when I switch from my legged monopod to get a tight shot of what I'm filming (Adult Industry), my hands are a bit shaky unless I focus deeply. With this support, no longer can I use a tripod/stand/monopod then switch for handheld close ups. So, now I'm 100% of the time shakes where I previously was 40% shakes. Grr............

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for independant film makers It takes some time to understand how to use each part to it but it will come in handy. Only problem is the straps to your shoulder can't be tightened to your chest and shoulders. But wearing something like a jacket on top of it should keep it still. You might want to unless you want a bunch of people staring at you. My opinion is any film maker with a small budget will buy this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice surprise I didn't expect much from a hundred and something dollar shoulder mount. I am a documentarian and I work with a heavy duty DSLR; plus the lens, mic etc, it gets over 10lb. I am not saying this rig is excellent, not at all, but it does free your hands and secure your gear but mostly, stabilizes your shot. Exactly what I need.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I was looking for! I have been shooting video at my church with my Mark III DSLR camera using a 200mm lens. My arms were killing withing a half hour because of the weight causing my video to be unstable and jumpy. This DLC V9 Camera Support was just what I needed to capture steady video without sore arms! It is fully adjustable for any shot. Love it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just what I needed Will help stabilize my one handed shots.Fits largely because I'm a petite but still stable.I really don't like the part you screw your camera on to.They should have made it like a tripod. All in all it will help me great ly with my slrt &dslr!
