The plug is fixed and cannot be converted. Use a straight XLR cable instead.

Connectors are not Neutrik. Appears to be Attache, but it's solidly-built. Seems like a quality cable.

With the 1' cable, is the length measured between the connector tips or the cable length in between the connectors?

Generally the cable is measured prior to adding the connectors. The length as a result for most cables including the PM Series XLR Male to XLR Female Professional Microphone Cable (1', Black) having a length of slightly above the measured length due to the extra length added by the connectors. For XLR cables, it works out to be roughly around 1" in added length assuming there was zero loss during the cable's construction.

what is the diameter of this xlr pm series (pearstone) cable?and will it turn a corner in 700 series wiremold?

It's a 24 AWG cable. 24 Gauge is 0.0201 inches in diameter. The Wiremold V700 90 Flat Elbow can easily accommodate the cable if not 2 cables.
