The Kopul Premier Quad Pro 5000 Series XLR M to XLR F Microphone Cable - 1' (0.3 m) is a studio- and broadcast-quality 4-conductor cable precision engineered for maximum rejection of RFI and electro-magnetic interference, extremely quiet performance, high flexibility and durability. Its twisted quad-conductor design features oxygen-free copper and allows for excellent conductivity, flexibility, low capacitance, and tensile strength.

This design affords the conductors a twist pitch length of only 2cm, reducing interference by assuring the minimum amount of the conductor is parallel to interference sources at any given section. The result is increased rejection of electro-magnetic and RFI noise, even in close proximity to the source. Cotton yarn is packed in to reduce friction between conductors and prevent unwanted electrostatic build-up and microphonic noise. The 99% braided TAC shield provides additional noise protection and corrosion resistance. Its Neutrik XX gold connectors provide high-quality, corrosion-free connectivity, and each solder point is individually shrink-wrapped for additional protection and to meet network broadcast facility standards.

Premier Quad Pro 5000 Series cables are ideal for use in the most demanding studio, touring, and broadcast applications.

Premier Quad Pro 5000 Series XLR M to XLR F Microphone Cable - 1' (0.3 m), Black is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good No Frills Cable I used to have a similar cable, but a little longer and with a 90 degree connection at the female end. That other cable was not a good design because the 90 degree connection end was not snugly fitted together. This caused rattling at the connection just behind of where the female end inserted into the microphone (Rode NTG2). The rattling transferred directly into the audio recorded! This new, non-angled, cable took care of that problem. It is also shorter than the other cable, so my set-up is more compact: mic to JuicedLink pre-amp to BMPCC.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Noise Free XLR Extension I use two single space rack mount Shure wireless receivers in a 4 space rack case - this just holds our wireless receivers, a power filter with pull out lights, and a 2 space pull out drawer for mic storage. Along the back of the case I use a Shure aerial extension. And to connect the mic's to our sound system I have a four line snake. My problem was that the XLR connects to the Shure receivers are half way into the case, difficult to see, and no room for a 90 degree fitting. So these 15 XLR extensions are the perfect length and the high quality shielding provides for no line noise. I wrapped the cable with one twist and attached it to a stick on fastener with small tie to the drawer lid. Now connecting the snake ends is much easier and gentle on the XLR cable ends.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for camera mounted shotgun microphones The Kopul 5000 has a nice build quality and an affordable price. I run mine from my camera mounted Rode NTG2 shotgun to my Zoom H6 mounted to my cage. It works great and it appears that it will last a long time. I would be interested in testing if there is a difference in the the noise rejection qualities of the 5000 series vs cheaper cables, but for the price I just went with the 5000 series just to be safe.
