The AV Toolbox AP-299 Dolby Digital to Analog Audio Converter is a versatile tool that provides conversion capabilities between optical, coaxial, and L/R analog audio signals. The AP-299 converter has the ability to convert digital signals into analog and analog signals into digital format. It also allows simultaneous conversion of audio formats. For example, when converting optical digital signals into analog L/R audio you can also create a coaxial format output from the same input audio source. The technology employed includes the Dolby Digital decoder, a digital interpolator filter, and a digital to analog converter using sampling frequencies from 32 to 96 kHz. An AC adapter is also provided.
