Considering the 95mm side can it also be used to attach a 95mm clamp-on matte-box like the Smallrig Mattebox Mini?
The Cavision 80mm to 95mm Clamp-on Step-up Ring has a 95mm front filter thread, which is on the inside of the front end. That means that the outside is slightly wider than 95mm. Because the SmallRig Mini Matte Box (B&H # SM3196) is designed to clamp onto 95mm diameter lenses, the Cavision 80mm to 95mm Clamp-on Step-up Ring may be slightly too wide to work with the matte box.
