This product really should just come with the follow focus from the get-go. The fact that it's a separate purchase is offset slightly by it's cheap price. Unfortunately, my copy is slightly too tight to properly get on the follow focus unit itself. It fits, but requires excessive force to put it on. That said, it's close enough that using some sandpaper on the inside should do the trick. If the manufacturing tolerances were better, this would be fantastic, because the slope of the marking disk, and the more solid matte white (as opposed to the standard marking disk's glossy white-board style) are fantastic. with a little DIY, this marking disk becomes what it should have been, a great component of a fantastic follow focus for independent filmmakers. Unfortunately, when buying an accessory from the company that made both products, you really shouldn't need to DIY at all.

This is a needed upgrade to the stock flat marking disc/plate that comes with the follow focus. My stock one cracked on the first shoot, so the upgrade was needed. It seems to get the job done.
