Its a little heavier than expected and the tighteners are a frustrating. Next time I will pay a little more for a better product

Does the job

I thought this came with an internal cable but it doesn't - meaning you need to buy a coiled cable that will sit inside this boom pole. I have recommended one below. The boom pole is tight however, very little slap and movement when extended. Very easy to extend the pole out by turning each section slightly and pulling out. The end of the pole will need to be drilled out if you want to run cable down the centre, as this is a rubber stop with no direct hole for connections. In context this is a basic lightweight boom pole which should do the job nicely without any hassles.

question

I think this picture is for their carbon fiber model? ($384 on the company's website). The XLR plug should be a cheaper looking one and the material itself looks different. If I am wrong and this is their carbon fiber model pole selling for $254 I would be buying one from you really soon.
