The Native JJP Analog Legends Bundle from Waves is a collection of compressor and EQ plug-ins modeled on vintage analog processing units used by producer and engineer Jack Joseph Puig. It includes the PuigChild 670/660 compressor, modeled on the Fairchild compressor, the PuigTec EQP-1A EQ, modeled on Jack Joseph Puig's own Pultec EQP equalizer, and the PuigTec MEQ5, based on the Pultec MEQ-5 midrange EQ.

The PuigChild 660 & 670 Native from Waves is a plug-in that emulates the sound of the now legendary Fairchild compressor. Originally designed for vinyl mastering, the now remaining hardware units command "artwork" prices and are virtual unobtainable to mere mortals.
However, the sound characteristics of the unit are universally sought after. The Waves plug-in has captured every distinctive nuance of Jack Joseph Puig's Fairchild 670, along with every detail of its rich harmonic complexity. Linked and unlinked modes are included, as is a lateral vertical mode for optimal stereo imaging.
- Input Gain: -20 to 0
- Threshold: 0 to 10 (0.1 steps)
- Time Constant: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
- On/Off: on, off
- Mains: off, 50 Hz, 60 Hz
- Link: left/right, linked, lateral/vertical
- Output: -18 dB to 18 dB (0.1 steps)
PuigTec Equalizers Native from Waves is pair of EQ plug-ins, that together provide a full-range vintage EQ chain. Both of the original Pultec hardware units on which these plug-ins have been modeled, have been, and are still today, mainstay at high-end studios.
The EQP-1A is known for its unique ability to boost and cut the same frequencies simultaneously, thereby creating a resonant shelf. The distinctive midrange tonal characteristics of the MEQ-5 make it the perfect complement to the EQP-1A.
