Studio Baseplate for Scarlet and Epic Cameras Overview

The Zacuto Studio Baseplate for Scarlet and Epic Cameras combines two Zacuto accessories into one package that you can attach 15mm rods to from the front, the back and sides for use with RED's Scarlet or Epic or with Canon's C300.

The two accessories are the C300 Studio Baseplate and the Rod Riser for Scarlet and Epic Cameras. Removing the Riser from the Baseplate will let you use the Baseplate with the C300. Keeping the Riser on will let you enhance your Scarlet or Epic rig -- the Riser, with its two 15mm 4.5" included rods that you see in the photo above, will give you the correct rod height to add a mattebox and a follow focus to your Scarlet or Epic.

Whether the Riser is on or off, you'll be able to attach rods to the Baseplate (from the front, the back and sides!) and to attach various accessories, like a shoulder pad or battery, onto the rods. The Riser attaches to the Baseplate by two included Allen screws. The Baseplate features one 1/4"-20 and three 3/8"-16 screw-holes and ships with one screw of each type.
