Available exclusively through B&H, the Polestar II Box Style Camera Kit provides a comprehensive monitoring solution for small to medium-sized business security applications. It includes the EQ610A Polestar II Box Camera, the C70510DCPS 12x Varifocal Lens, and the CAMH-800K 15" Housing.
The camera uses a 1/3" Color Sony Super HAD II CCD image sensor to capture high-quality images at a resolution of up to 560 TVL. Designed for day/night surveillance, the camera operates well even in locations with a minimum illumination of 0.0002 lux, making it suitable for low-light surveillance. In addition, a host of imaging features such as White Balance, Backlight Compensation, and Wide Dynamic Range, ensures that the box camera consistently delivers bright and sharp images in varied lighting situations.
The 3D-Noise Reduction function improves picture clarity and helps DVRs improve disk storage utilization. Motion Detection enables video recording to begin once any movement is detected in up to 4 selectable zones. You can also protect the privacy of people in the surveillance area by masking up to 8 configurable regions.
Featuring a focal length range of 5.0 to 60mm, the varifocal lens supports 54.2 to 4.6° wide angle of view to cover a wider surveillance area. The iris range of f/1.3-360 offers detailed imagery at low-light intensity as well as under extreme bright light.
Made of aluminum, the housing protects the camera when installed in an indoor/outdoor location. It also includes a built-in heater and blower (24 VAC) that regulate the internal temperature of the unit, thereby ensuring uninterrupted surveillance in extreme weather conditions.
