The Autocue BM-AC46S 46" LCD Multi-Format Monitor is a large multi-format monitor for broadcast and studio use. The monitor is outfitted with several inputs including two HD/SDI inputs and an HDMI input. Additionally the monitor is equipped with several other features to assist in production from picture and picture function, pixel to pixel mapping, waveform monitor and vectorscope (which can be displayed simultaneously).
Pixel to Pixel Mapping
The BM-AC46S' pixel to pixel mapping will display an input source without scaling it, such that each pixel received is mapped to a single native pixel on the monitor. This will result in a black border around the image (windowboxing) unless the input resolution is greater than or equal to the monitor's native resolution. This technique is helpful if it is desired to stop a video from being stretched or distorted by the monitor.
